Brand-Name Prescriptions
When clinically appropriate, we may prescribe FDA-approved brand-name medications such as Zepbound® or Wegovy® through retail pharmacies or eligible manufacturer-direct pharmacy programs. Medication cost, insurance coverage, and fulfillment are handled separately by the dispensing pharmacy or manufacturer program.
About Compounded Medications
Compounded medications are prepared for individual patients pursuant to a prescription when clinically and legally appropriate. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing.
